Definitely the best island you can visit from Jesselton Harbour!
It is a vast island, which is favourable on days when the island is inundated with tourists.
Manukan Island is one of those destinations that makes for a great, easy day excursion from Kota Kinabalu. The boat ride is short, the water is clear, and the scenery is postcard-perfect if you go on a nice day.
We visited this island for the day, and it was beautiful to visit.
We spent six nice nights on the island. The beach area for overnight guests is nice, however it might benefit from more covered seats. I recommend
It’s a wonderful green tropical island. Beautiful beach with plenty of sand. This is especially true during the tide. There are enough tables for guests to rest on the beach.
