SG Arrival Card with Electronic Health Declaration
Complete Guide
What It Is
The SG Arrival Card (SGAC) is Singapore’s mandatory electronic alternative to the old white paper disembarkation card. It collects your personal details, travel itinerary, passport information, and a short health declaration. This includes symptoms and any recent exposure to infectious diseases—essential for public health monitoring.
Who Must Fill It Out
All individuals entering Singapore by air or sea—regardless of citizenship—must complete an SGAC, except:
Transit/transfers without passing immigration control.
Singapore citizens, PRs, or Long-Term Pass holders arriving by land (Woodlands/Tuas)
When to Submit
Submit your SGAC up to 3 days before your scheduled arrival date, including the arrival day itself. Example: For a June 30 arrival, you may submit anytime from June 28 onward
How to Submit
There are two free, official channels you can use:
SGAC e-Service via the ICA website.
MyICA Mobile App (available on iOS/Android) Both let you:Save your profile for future trips Choose between Resident or Visitor submission categories Start a Group Submission if you're travelling with others After submission, you'll receive an acknowledgment email confirming receipt.
Why it Matters
Singapore uses the SGAC’s health section to help prevent the import of infectious diseases—like Yellow Fever, MERS, Ebola, and Mpox. Submissions guide targeted medical screening upon arrival. Around 240 travellers per month are flagged for follow-up; missing or inaccurate declarations could lead to extra scrutiny or prosecution under the Infectious Diseases Act
What to Do If Your Health Status Changes
If you fall ill or develop symptoms after submitting your form, simply use the “Update SG Arrival Card” feature to correct your details. Misleading statements can result in legal penalties
Additional Entry Requirements
Alongside the SGAC, travellers must also:
Carry a passport valid for at least six months beyond their travel dates
Have proof of onward or return travel
Possess Yellow Fever vaccination, if they've been in risk country within the past 6 days.
After You Land
Present a printed or digital version of your acknowledgment email and passport at immigration.
Foreign visitors will not need a paper arrival card, as the system is electronic.
Eligible travellers may use automated immigration lanes, where biometrics (e.g. face or fingerprint) are taken.
