After lunch, go from Bab el-Fotouh to Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, which is filled with booths selling everything from spices and leather items to jewelry and birds. Explore Sultan Hassan’s Mosque and Madrasa, which were completed in 1356 and are among the greatest specimens of early Mamluk architecture.
