Travellers are often fascinated by the tall red walls and numerous buildings with golden roofs when they arrive at the grandest imperial palace. An a la carte welcome meal at a very fine restaurant is included in our package and is valued at CNY150.00 per person.

The highlight of today is the trip to the Great Wall of Mutianyu. Included is the round-trip cable car. For a group tasting on the Great Wall, we will specifically supply red wine. We are not planning a meal today because the neighbouring restaurants are of poor quality. You could be better off eating a large breakfast at the hotel and getting some quick food for lunch on your own. You will be shown a few restaurants by our guide. Drive back to the Olympic National Stadium (Bird’s Nest) and stop for a picture; from a distance, you can appreciate its magnificent aspect.
You will next have the opportunity to visit a local family and experience the original Hutong alleys on a rickshaw tour.

See the Summer Palace and the Panda House in the Beijing Zoo in the morning. Your guide will send you to catch a flight to Xi’an after lunch. You will be picked up at the airport and taken to the hotel by your local guide.
Please take note that we will be using the high-speed rail rather than the plane to get from Beijing to Xian for the tours in 2026 and 2027. It lasts for approximately 4.5 to 5.5 hours. It’s an excellent chance to see China’s rapidly expanding high-speed rail system.

To spend the entire morning admiring the formidable Qin Terracotta Army, you will be driven to the suburbs today. Visit the residence of the Terracotta Army’s first discoverer with your family after that. Then, with the assistance of a local craftsman, create a miniature clay warrior on your own in a typical cave abode. Our guide will be happy to help, but lunch is on your own. Continue your exploration to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in the afternoon. You are invited to a magnificent Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show and a traditional dumpling banquet tonight.

Following breakfast, your guide will accompany you to the airport in Guilin, where you will meet your local guide. You will then be driven to the hotel. You will have a half-day sightseeing excursion to the Elephant Trunk Hill and Reed Flute Cave following check-in and a brief relaxation.

Take in the sights along the Li River as you cruise down from Guilin to Yangshuo. In roughly four and a half hours, disembark at Yangshuo and stroll down the well-known West Street. After that, you will be taken to Yangshuo’s countryside to see a local villager’s house and take in the breathtaking countryside views. We’ll finally take you back to Guilin by car.
Tips: The lunch on the cruise is the ordinary Chinese lunch box, which is not up to the standard that we would prefer. Therefore, we advise you to start your day with a substantial breakfast at the hotel.

The journey will begin today at the Shanghai Museum, which focusses on Chinese old art, including calligraphy, paintings, bronze ware, and chinaware. Later, see the traditional Yu Garden and the bazaar that surrounds it. Enjoy a goodbye a la carte lunch of classic Shanghai food at a reputable restaurant at around noon. The cost is CNY150.00 per person and is covered by our price. After being led to the Bund in the afternoon, you will have a one-hour Huangpu River boat. When you get back to the hotel, our guide will greet you in the lobby and wish you a good journey.

You can check out of the hotel after breakfast and make your own travel arrangements to the airport. There are two airports in Shanghai: Pudong International Airport (PVG) and Hongqiao Airport (SHA). Please confirm which airport your flight is leaving from before you go. To save time, we respectfully ask that you make a taxi reservation in advance at the hotel bell desk. Hiking along the wall gives breathtaking vistas, but because there are many stairs and up-and-down walking, you must be in fairly decent physical shape.
I strongly advise going to any ‘unrestored’ area with them.
For those who have limited time yet like to see a larger section of the wall, I heartily recommend this hike.
