12 Days in the Philippines’ Wanderlands

Greetings from the Philippines! Your group leader will be ready and waiting to drive you back to our hostel when you arrive at the Manila airport. After a lengthy travel, today is all about unwinding and getting settled, so go shopping or simply take in some of the local sights. After a brief briefing, we join the other Wanderlands groupies for a welcome supper and beverages.

Now that R&R is gone, it’s time to move on, so prepare yourself for a day of travel. After arriving at our beachfront hotel, where we will spend the following three nights, we will travel to the seaside town of Moalboal, which is well-known for the sardine run. After checking in, our new friends and I will have time to tour the region and take advantage of everything Moalboal has to offer. There’s nothing better than dining while watching a sunset. Nothing, so we’re going to do that.

We’re going to have an absolutely amazing experience today when we dive into the sea to swim with the magnificent whale sharks. We assure you that you will want to capture this moment forever, so bring your underwater camera! We then travel far into Cebu’s hills to see some of the most exquisite waterfalls in the country. Enjoy the refreshing azure waters of Tumalog Falls, one of the region’s numerous natural springs. Your friends back home will be envious of the photos we take of us cooling off in these gorgeous lagoons.

After a restful night’s sleep, spend a leisurely morning lounging by the pool or go exploring. After lunch, we’ll meet up to go snorkelling with hundreds of sardines on a “sardine run,” which will leave you speechless! After dinner and cocktails, we’ll reflect on some of the incredible things we’ve already accomplished—and it’s just day four!

We board our bus this morning and head back to Cebu City, where we take the tour’s final flight to reach our ultimate destination—Palawan, which has been named one of the world’s best islands. We will take a private bus to Port Barton, a charming fishing community, as soon as we land. We will have supper and a few drinks before sundown after checking into our fantastic hotel on the beach.

On the sixth day, we take a voyage around the stunning island of Port Barton, Palawan, in our very own local sailing boat. We have the opportunity to snorkel in the blue crystal waters, eat a freshly made Filipino lunch provided by our local boat crew, and explore some secret beaches. We had a good lunch and party in the evening.

Let’s go waterfall chasing in the vein of TLC Wanderlands. Put on your hiking shoes and join us as we explore San Vicente’s unspoiled jungle. You will be rewarded with a cool plunge in the captivating Pamuayan Waterfall. Get a drink, relax, or perhaps play some beach games in the sun—it’s time to go to the beach and unwind.

It’s time to make the three-hour drive to El Nido after an incredible three days in Port Barton. We will stay in this coastal community till the end of our journey, which features crystal-clear waters, a forest, sheer limestone cliffs, and beautiful coves. Once we’ve checked into our wonderful last hotel that boasts a rooftop to die for with 360 views of El Nido and the infinity pool overlooking some of the best sunsets. Philippines has to offer. Now is the perfect time to travel a short distance to Las Cabanas beach to relax and enjoy a stunning sunset. For those who are thrill-seekers, we also offer an optional activity called “Ziplining,” which involves flying headfirst to the beach!

We have the opportunity to explore a few of the Philippines’ numerous stunning islands today. We’ll spend the day on our local boat, making stops at some incredibly beautiful beaches to go kayaking and snorkelling. We also have the opportunity to see the magnificent “Small and Big Lagoons,” which are some of the world’s most beautiful locations! It’s time to get out and see more of El Nido with your incredible group after an incredible day.

In order to fully experience the local flavours and customs, we will begin the day by preparing a traditional Filipino meal. The best part is that we can enjoy this delicious cuisine that we made ourselves!

After that, we’ll return to explore the white sand beach and enjoy the sun while thinking back on the incredible moments we’ve had together and the memories we’ve made. We’ll spend some time to enjoy the island’s stunning scenery and distinctive culture. You and your amazing Wanderlands groupies can play beach games before we watch the sunset from one of the island’s top locations. After that, we’ll return to town and explore El Nido’s exciting nightlife.

After an exciting 11 days filled with culture, fun, and adventure, we will spend our final full day together relaxing at the breathtaking Nacpan Beach. We’re going to enjoy our final family outing and our final lunch together.

Although leaving will be bittersweet, we will do so with heartfelt goodbyes and lifelong memories.
