13-day Philippine Island Explorer

Greetings from Manila! After picking you up at the airport, we’ll drive you to the hotel. You’ll have plenty of time to rest and recuperate after your flight after checking in, before you meet up with the rest of your group!

We take a quick internal flight and boat to the beautiful island of Cebu today, making a stop at one of the island’s most beautiful waterfalls en route. Prepare to feel like you’re in paradise while taking the greatest Instagram photos!

We’ll pause today for an exhilarating canyoneering experience at Kawasan Falls, where we’ll jump into azure pools and explore the enchanted rainforest setting.

We’re heading out snorkelling this morning to see the renowned Sardine Run at Moalboal. We will get the opportunity to snorkel among many sardines in remarkably clear water—an experience unlike any other—a phenomena deserving of a David Attenborough documentary! You can spend the afternoon lounging by the pool or beach in the tropical sun or seeing more of Moalboal town.

We will visit Simala Church today, a monastery resembling a castle where we can study the Spanish colonisation of the Philippines. We’ll take our second internal flight from Cebu City to Busuanga Island, where we’ll check into our accommodations.

We’re going snorkelling in the Sulu Sea, so it’s time to pull out the snorkel goggles and underwater camera. We’ll be sure to see some stunning animals while snorkelling at some of Coron’s most well-known locations! We’ll explore Coron’s exciting nightlife tonight.

You have the option of relaxing by the pool or exploring Coron Town this morning. For stunning views of the bay, we’ll walk up Mount Tapyas later that day. Following a workout, we’ll head to Maquinit Hot Springs to unwind and enjoy a golden sunset while soaking in the hot saltwater pools.

We embarked on an amazing three-day island-hopping journey from Coron to El Nido today. We’ll venture off the usual path to discover unspoiled islands and oceans, interact with local tribes, and spend the night on the beach while sailing a traditional Banca boat. Although our Filipino huts and amenities are basic, we believe the trade-off is well worth it because there aren’t many tourists, there is a plenty of fresh food, and there are breathtaking views everywhere you look.

We’ll pass more white beaches on our way to Palawan and swim with fish in some of the most vibrant snorkelling locations on the planet. We will be able to fully appreciate the divine beauty of our surroundings as we will be completely off the grid. All we have planned is to swim, snorkel, sunbathe and repeat because we have nothing else to worry about. We’re staying on the beach tonight in a traditional camp, sleeping under the stars while listening to the waves.

We reach the island of Palawan today, marking the end of our island hopping adventure. Today is our day to unwind on the beach, have refreshing beverages, and explore El Nido after a few days of swimming and sailing. We’ll get to see the island’s nightlife tonight!

We’re going to take a walk over the lush jungle canopy this morning to get a bird’s-eye view of the town. The best way to relax after so much activity is to have a Filipino massage, which is included to help relax your muscles. You have a choice in how you want to spend your evening. The possibilities are unlimited, whether it’s a sunset bar or a casual supper.

We will have a Jeepney tour of El Nido on our final full day. We’ll go to a nearby organic farm and have lunch on the beach while the locals perform a traditional Filipino dance. After that, we’ll go to Nacpan Beach, which is among Palawan’s most stunning locations. We celebrate the amazing adventures we’ve had together with our final supper and drinks tonight.
