5 Days Hanoi, Halong Bay, and Beyond Tour

Greetings from Hanoi, Vietnam! The only planned activity on your first day in Hanoi is the airport pickup, so you can get there whenever you want. You will be met at the airport by a Legend Travel Group driver who will drive you to your hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to relax or explore the city and create your own initial impressions of Vietnam after you have checked in. The itinerary includes the airport transfer, so you don’t need to worry about making your own travel arrangements. Prepare for an exciting adventure by spending the night in Hanoi!

Following a delectable breakfast at the hotel, our amiable guide will pick you up to start your tour of Hanoi City. Tran Quoc Pagoda, which is situated on Golden Fish Island in West Lake, will be the first destination. Constructed in the sixth century, this pagoda is the oldest in Hanoi. Discover the history and culture of this significant landmark while admiring the magnificent architecture.

Then proceed to the Ho Chi Minh complex, where you can view Ho Chi Minh’s embalmed body. See the two homes where he lived and worked from 1954 to 1969 by taking a leisurely stroll around the garden. Next, pay a visit to the One Pillar Pagoda, regarded as the world’s most distinctive pagoda and dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy.

Please be aware that Mondays and Fridays are closed at the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh City. Should your tour coincide with either of these days, a different schedule will be set up.

After that, visit the Vietnam Ethnology Museum to discover more about the 54 ethnic groups that call Vietnam home. You will instead visit the Women’s Museum if your tour takes place on a Monday, when the museum will be closed.

We will pick you up at 8:30 am for a day trip to the Bai Dinh pagoda and Trang An ecosystem in Ninh Binh province after you have finished your breakfast at the hotel. It will take roughly two hours to drive from Hanoi to Ninh Binh.

First, we visit Bai Dinh Pagoda, Vietnam’s largest pagoda with 500 La Han statues and the country’s largest bronze Buddha statue, which is 10 meters tall and weighs 100 tons. We will have time to explore the splendor of this sacred location and go to the Buddha Prayer Place.

We will then eat lunch at a nearby restaurant where we will sample some of the delectable regional specialties, like pork storage vessels and goat meat with elderberries.

The Trang An Scenic Landscape complex, which was just named a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, will be the next stop on our tour after lunch. Here, we will travel down the river in a small sampan boat, passing by the scenic mountain and verdant fields. With its own distinct charm and mystery, the boat will take you to explore the Trang An cave complex, which includes Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, and Nau Ruou Cave. This region is frequently called “Halong Bay on land” because of the striking visual similarities.

Following breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up by our minivan/bus between 8:30 and 9:00 am to start your trip to Halong City. Along the way, you will have the chance to observe the rural simplicity and rice paddy life during the 3.5-hour drive. You will board your boat, a genuine Chinese Junk, as soon as you get to the port and start your incredible journey through the breathtaking Halong Bay, a World Heritage Site. During lunch, a variety of the freshest seafood will be served on board.

After visiting “the Amazing cave” during the cruise, we’ll swim in Halong Bay’s serene emerald waters. After that, we’ll continue to cruise into a peaceful spot where we’ll anchor and spend the night. As the sun goes down over the bay, you will savor dinner and unwind. After that, you can relax in your cabin, swim in the phosphorescent water, or even take a nap on the upper deck while taking in Halong’s allure. You will spend the night on the boat while admiring the bay’s breathtaking surroundings.

Get up early to breathe in the clean ocean air and see the breathtaking sunrise. Savor a delectable breakfast aboard the vessel as you take your time exploring Halong Bay’s thousands of stunning islands. This is a fantastic chance to take some breathtaking pictures of the beautiful surroundings.

We will also make a stop at a floating fishing village during the cruise to hear fabled tales of the fishermen’s everyday lives. As we make our way back to the Halong City pier, lunch will be provided on board. We will then head back to Hanoi.
