Day By Day Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Beijing

Our local guide will meet you at the airport with a TCT signboard when you arrive in Beijing, the Chinese capital. After that, our guide will take you to the hotel for check-in. To help you recover from jet lag, you can spend the remainder of the day at your leisure.

Day 2Beijing

We begin our exploration of this city treasure today by visiting Tian’anmen plaza, the largest city center plaza in the world and the site of many significant historical and political events. It serves as a witness to China’s progress. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to take pictures in The National Centre for the Performing Arts, often referred to as The Egg and formerly known as the National Grand Theatre. After that, it’s a short stroll to Forbidden City, which is home to the biggest and most comprehensive old wooden structures in the world.

For more than two hours, you will tour the magnificent palace halls and gardens in Forbidden City while discovering the fabled history of the emperors and the way the royal family lived there.

A nearby Indian eatery serves lunch.

We will visit the Temple of Heaven in the afternoon, which is currently the biggest building for offering sacrifices to heaven and where the emperors prayed for a prosperous year. You will be astounded by the magnificent old Chinese architecture when you visit the Temple of Heaven.

Day 3Beijing

Breakfast and a la carte lunch are served in the National Museum of China, Juyongguan Great Wall, and the outside of the Bird Nest and Water Cube.

Today is going to be an eventful day. Your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby in the morning. We will go to the crucial section of Beijing’s Great Wall, the Juyongguan Great Wall, which was one of Beijing’s eight magnificent landscapes eight hundred years ago. Since “guan” means “mountain pass” in Chinese, the Juyongguan Section is a section that lies through mountains and acts as a wall to keep attackers out. In 1987, this national cultural protection unit was included in the World Heritage Directory. The Juyongguan Great Wall is around an hour’s drive from Beijing’s downtown. You could approach.

Day 4Beijing and Xi'an

Check out of the hotel in the morning and begin your tour of Beijing’s final attractions, including Summer Palace, China’s largest and best-preserved imperial park. Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill are recognized as Summer Palace’s representatives. You have the option to go boating on the park’s lake and take in the stunning view of the royal garden. Admire the incredibly wealthy and esteemed paintings on the hallway’s beams as you stroll along the Long hallway, the longest corridor in the world.

We’ll set up lunch at a nearby Indian eatery. After that, we travel to Beijing West Railway Station in order to board a high-speed train to Xi’an (2nd class, approximately 5 hours). TCT guides will wait with our signboard at the Xi’an train station exit before transferring you to the hotel for check-in. For the remainder of the time, free at your leisure.

Day 5Xi'an

We will travel to the Terracotta Warriors, one of Xi’an’s highlights, today. We will stop at a pottery workshop en route to Terracotta Warriors, where you will have the opportunity to learn how to create a self-made pottery figure as a present. We will have ample time to see the Terracotta Warriors, one of the most significant archaeological discoveries in history, complete with soldiers, horses, and carts arranged in combat.

After that, we take a drive to the city center and spend some time strolling around Big Wild Goose Pagoda’s North Square.

You will get the opportunity to see a traditional shadow performance and visit the Xi’an Museum and Jianfu Temple while you are at the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. Before heading to the airport, lunch will be planned at a nearby Indian eatery.

From Xi’an, take a quick trip to Shanghai, one of China’s major entry points.

Day 7Shanghai

We begin our day excursion today at the base of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower to visit the Shanghai City History Museum (formerly known as the Shanghai Wax Museum), where you can learn more about Shanghai’s development and history. After that, ride the elevator to the second ball of the TV tower, where you can see Shanghai from above. Continue driving through Lujiazui, Shanghai’s finance and commercial district in Pudong, which is home to numerous skyscrapers. We will be able to see Shanghai’s contemporary skyline.

Admire the lit structures bordering the Huangpu River as you return to the Bund. Situated across from the Huangpu River, the Bund offers views of Shanghai’s iconic Oriental Pearl TV Tower and other tall structures. Have lunch at a nearby Indian eatery.

We proceed to Yuyuan Garden, a traditional Chinese garden located in the city’s downtown, after lunch. After that, keep exploring Shanghai Old thoroughfare and Nanjing Road, which is Shanghai’s oldest commercial thoroughfare.

Make plans for the nighttime acrobatic show, particularly the ERA show, which is one of Shanghai’s most well-liked evening events, on the way back to the hotel.
