Bali Bucket List Original 10 Day Tour

Greetings from the Gods’ Island! The first day of our journey is the welcome day. To meet the rest of the group, we will collect you from the airport and take you on a cruise down to the busy city of Canggu. After checking into the fantastic Frii Hotel, enjoy a Bintang by the pool in the afternoon or, if you’re still feeling the effects of your lengthy flight, take a quick nap. We’ll walk down to the beach right before dusk so you can see your first breathtaking Bali sunset!

We are going to the lovely region of Ubud today. Bring a towel if you would like to take a cool dip when we visit the Uma Anya Waterfall! The renowned rice terraces of Ubud are next, and you might even get a chance to swing. Enjoy a peaceful drink in the rooftop infinity pool as the day comes to a close.

A trip to Ubud wouldn’t be complete without negotiating for that Bali bag at the local market! Since now is the best time to get a deal—the earlier the better—we will head down right after breakfast! We will depart for a traditional Balinese cooking class in the middle of the afternoon to light some woks and prepare our dinner. Cooking in an open kitchen surrounded by rice fields is a truly unique experience.

There will be an early start for all of the eager hikers today. It is now time to witness one of the most spectacular sunrises on Mount Batur. Look down at the sun as it glints through the low clouds. Enjoy a sleep-in back in Ubud if you don’t like early mornings or mountain climbing. It’s time to prepare the bananas for our trip to Monkey Forest after lunch, but be careful—they can be mischievous!

Bluer waters, or perhaps more accurately, greener pastures, are in order. We will visit the breathtaking Gili islands today by island hopping. Take a luxurious cruise on the fast boat. When we get to Gilli T, we’ll check into our hotel and head to the beach to capture the iconic sunset photo. After sunset, Gili T’s nightlife really takes off. Try a few “joss shots,” then dance all night long at the various beach bars.

We all board our private boat and set out to find turtles. Take a plunge into the pristine tropical waters while we go turtle spotting to get rid of that hangover. A true crowd-pleaser, this is not to be missed! After returning to Gili T, we’ll hop on bicycles and pedal slowly around the island to enjoy the breathtaking scenery.

We are leaving the Gili Islands today and heading to Nusa Lembongan, an island that has not been visited much. Before the boat departs at lunchtime, we will spend the morning in Gili T enjoying a leisurely brunch or going for another ride around. We’ll get to the renowned Devil’s Tear viewpoint in time to witness another breathtaking sunset.

Nothing beats snorkeling with manta rays to start the day! In paradise, we learn to surf after lunch! We ride Nusa Lembongan’s pristine swell, so forget about those other surf schools in Bali. Our certified surf instructor will teach you the fundamentals on the sand before you paddle out to the well-known “Playgrounds” break. Don’t worry, you won’t be by yourself! With our instructor by your side, you can effortlessly surf the best waves. Following sunset, we’re going to eat dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, which offers both traditional Indonesian fare and Western fare. Your guide will also assist you in beginning to plan your future travel tonight.

Sadly, this will be the last full day of our trip. The best, though, has been saved for last! Nusa Penida! We travel to Nusa Penida after admiring the mangroves. Capture famous pictures from above Kelingking Beach and Billabong Beach. We’ll go relax at the stunning Crystal Bay after lunch. Then, before enjoying one final breathtaking sunset together, return to Nusa Lembongan. Before going out for a final drink together, we will all eat dinner together tonight and look back at all of the pictures from the past week.

Today, we bid each other farewell as we part ways! With any luck, there won’t be many tears. Remember to take a final group photo!
