Day By Day Itinerary

Day 1Beijing Arrival (No Meals)

Our local tour guide will meet you at Beijing Capital Airport and take you to your hotel to check in.

To recover from the jet lag, spend the remainder of the day at your leisure.

Beijing Capital International Airport, Beijing, China, is the starting point.

Day 2Beijing

You will be met by your guide in the foyer of your hotel. The first place you will arrive at is Tian’anmen Square. Explore the Forbidden City and stroll around the square. To get a good overview of the Forbidden City from the summit of Coal Hill, walk to Jingshan Park. After a Chinese meal, travel to Back Lakes (Houhai) and enter Nanluoguxiang Alley, one of Beijing’s most well-known Hutong districts, which is a blend of fashion, history, and souvenir shops. After that, we’ll have to make a stop at a tea house.

Return to your hotel by car, and don’t be afraid to ask your guide for recommendations for things to do in the evening, like going to a night performance or finding a Peking duck restaurant.

Day 3Beijing

Now go see the Great Wall. The Mutianyu Great Wall can be reached by car, hiked, or explored via cable car. A Chinese meal is held at a nearby restaurant. On the way back to downtown, stop at a factory that makes jade carvings. Make a photo stop close to the Bird Nest and Water Cube before driving back to your lodging.

Day 4High-speed train from Beijing to Xian

Take a drive to the Temple of Heaven, China’s tallest temple still standing and a masterpiece of antiquity, to offer sacrifices to heaven. After that, spend some time at the adjacent Hutong. Take a high-speed train to Xian after lunch at a neighbourhood Chinese restaurant. Transfer service with a native guide to the accommodation in Xian.

Day 55 Xian

We will pick you up in the morning and take you to the world-famous Qin Terracotta Warriors, which is a must-see location. At the pottery workshop, you will next get the opportunity to learn how a pottery figurine is made. There will be a Chinese lunch set up close by.

Visit the Bell Tower in the afternoon. It is the biggest bell tower in China in terms of size and shape, and it is also the finest preserved. After that, visit Gao’s Courtyard to see historic homes and learn about the local customs like shadow puppetry and paper cutting. Keep exploring the Muslim Quarter, have fun shopping there, and try some of the different regional foods. Return to the hotel by car. In the evening, you should definitely see the Tang Dynasty Show.

Day 6Flying from Xian to Guilin

After packing and checking out, take a leisurely tour of North Square, Wild Goose Pagoda, and the Ancient City Wall. Drive to the Xian airport after lunch in order to visit the Hanyang Mausoleum, China’s largest museum in terms of floor area. Take a plane to Guilin. Transfer service with a native guide to the hotel in Guilin.

Day 7Guilin

To get to the Longji Rice Terraces Scenic Area (Dragon Backbone), drive for around two hours. After some hiking, we were able to visit the breathtaking Longji Terraces. Over 700 years have passed since the courageous and astute locals created and constructed the paddies into the hillsides that encircle their communities. A local eatery in the minority village will host lunch. Return by car to the Guilin hotel. You are strongly encouraged to take the Night Cruise that sails on four lakes.

Day 8Yangshuo – Guilin

Savour a lunch buffet while on the Li River Cruise. A deluxe cruise with respectable amenities and first-rate service will be planned. As you cruise down the winding river to Yangshuo, take in the picturesque surroundings. You can sit and take in the beautiful view outside the window or walk on the sundeck. Take a tourist car to the parking lot or stroll down West Street after disembarking. In the late afternoon, make your way back to the hotel in Guilin for the night.

Day 9Flying from Guilin to Shanghai

Check out after meeting our local guide. See Guilin City’s emblem, Elephant Trunk Hill. The hill resembles a giant elephant stretching its trunk while sipping Li River water. Observing the Golden and Silver Twin Pagodas at the lake’s edge while strolling alongside the Li River and Shanhu Lake. Drive to Reed Flute Cave, a well-known beautiful location that offers a magical paradise of stalactites and stalagmites in amazing shapes and colours, after that. Before leaving Guilin, a la carte lunch at a nearby restaurant, In the afternoon, take a plane to Shanghai. You will be met at the airport by the local guide, who will then take you to the hotel.

Day 10Shanghai

Take a stroll through the Shikumen to discover Old Shanghai. Take an orientation walk on the Bund, a late 19th-century hub for international trade. Next, proceed to Shanghai’s downtown to see Yuyuan Garden, a traditional Chinese garden. On the way, lunch at a nearby Chinese restaurant.

Visit the Jade Buddha Temple in the afternoon. Before arriving to the new Lujiazui CBD neighbourhood, you can visit a silk museum and spend some free time on the Riverside Promenade. See Shanghai Tower, the tallest structure in Shanghai and the metropolitan skyline. Savour a broad perspective of Shanghai.

Returning to the hotel. We strongly advise you to take in one of Shanghai’s most well-liked nighttime entertainment options, the ERA Acrobatic Show.

Day 11Shanghai Departure

Enjoy a free day before being driven to the airport for your trip back. If you would like, we can arrange for you to take the Maglev train to Pudong airport, or we can drive you there.
