Additional Notes: The Forbidden City’s maximum daily capacity has been lowered from 80,000 to 30,000 due to post-pandemic restrictions in China. The availability of tickets for both solo and group trips has been greatly impacted by this notable drop in daily tickets, particularly during the summer. To get tickets for every group, our local team puts forth a lot of effort.We shall, however, visit the Summer Palace and the Temple of Heaven, which are as significant and have comparable architecture, in the unlikely event that we are unable to obtain tickets to the Forbidden City.

However, the availability of train tickets is restricted during periods of high travel demand, such as Chinese national holidays and summer vacations. Discover more about China’s amazing past by touring the historic Xi’An City Wall in the morning. After that, travel to Suzhou in the afternoon via bullet train.
For defence, the old Xi’An City Wall was constructed during the Tang and Ming dynasties. Only a segment of the wall will be explored during your one to two hour visit, which will begin at 8:00 am.
It takes almost two hours to cycle along the 12-meter (39-foot) wall, so you may rent a bike and get off where you want to enjoy the scenery.
