At fourteen hours after your arrival in Casablanca, you will begin a guided tour of the city. The famous Hassan II Mosque, one of the biggest mosques in the world and a masterwork of contemporary Islamic architecture, will be on your tour. Additionally, you will tour the city’s most significant landmarks. The tour will also include a visit to the Habous quarter, a charming neighborhood known for its traditional architecture and lively souks. You will also see the United Nations Square, the Central Market, and the Mohammad V Avenue, the most important street of the city center.

Day 2Tangier

At 8 a.m., our driver will come to your Casablanca hotel to drop you off at the train station so you can catch the high-speed train to Tangier (2 p.m.). Our driver and local guide in Tangier will be waiting for you outside the train station when you arrive, holding a sign with your entire name on it. You can explore the Cap Spartel, which provides a broad perspective of the city and the Mediterranean Sea, the Kasbah, and the winding streets. Additionally, you will see the Museum of Moroccan Arts, which features traditional Moroccan crafts and art, and the American Legation, the first American public property outside of the United States. You will also have the chance to observe the Grand Socco, the city’s main square, where you can watch the people going about their everyday lives. The tour also includes a visit to the Caves of Hercules, which are thought to be the resting places of the legendary Hercules. This tour is perfect for history and culture enthusiasts, as it offers a glimpse into the rich heritage of Tangier. Overnight stay in Tangier

Day 3 Chefchaouen

We travel to Chefchaouen, one of Morocco’s most charming towns, at nine o’clock. Chefchaouen is a well-liked location for hikers, photographers, and anyone looking for a tranquil getaway because of its blue and white painted buildings. The tour will lead you through the medina, where you can explore the monuments and landmarks like the Spanish Mosque, the Kasbah, and the Great Mosque while also learning about its winding streets. At the local souks, you will also have the chance to observe the creation of traditional crafts like weaving, pottery, and traditional attire. A visit to the city’s viewpoint, which provides a broad perspective of the town and the Rif mountains, is also included in the tour. Chefchaouen is a fantastic place to escape the bustle of the city and experience the town’s serene and endearing ambiance. We return to Rabat in the late afternoon. Spend the night in Rabat

Day 4 Rabat & Volubilis

The Volubilis tour from Rabat to Fez offers a singular chance to discover two of Morocco’s most intriguing and historic locations. The tour starts at 9:00 a.m. in Rabat, the capital, where you will see the Hassan Tower, the Royal Palace, and Mohammed V’s Mausoleum. The city’s rich cultural legacy and its function as Morocco’s political and cultural hub are revealed by these landmarks. Following your exploration of Rabat, the tour will take you to the third-century BC Roman ruins of Volubilis. One of North Africa’s best-preserved Roman ruins, Volubilis provides an intriguing window into the history of the area. The Capitoline Temple, the Basilica, and the homes of the affluent residents are among the remnants of an ancient city that visitors can explore. Spend the night in Fez

Day 5Fes

A thorough examination of one of Morocco’s most ancient and cultural cities is provided by the Fez City Tour. Discover the winding streets and the monuments and landmarks, including the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Dar Batha Museum, and the Bou Jeloud Gardens, as you travel through the ancient medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A visit to the Royal Palace, another excellent location to learn about Morocco’s past, is also part of the tour. Additionally, tourists will be able to witness the production of traditional crafts like leather goods and pottery at the local souks. For those who enjoy history and culture, this tour is ideal because it provides an insight into Fez’s rich legacy. Spend the night in Fez.

Day 6 Mezouga Desert

By way of the breathtaking Middle Atlas Mountains and Ziz Valley, where you can witness traditional Berber villages and breathtaking scenery, you can travel from the medieval city of Fez to the desert region of Merzouga. You will have the chance to spend the night in a traditional desert camp and enjoy the excitement of camel trekking once you arrive in Merzouga. As you traverse the dunes, you will be able to take in the sunset and the ever-changing hues. You will spend the night in a nomad tent in the middle of the desert under the stars following a traditional dinner accompanied by Berber rhythms.

Day 7 Todra Gorge & Boumalne Dades

Before traveling to Ouarzazate via Boumalne Dades Valley, you will rise early to witness the sunrise over the Erg Chebbi sand dunes (optional). You will have the chance to discover the local way of life and culture while touring the valley’s traditional Berber homes, palmeries, and kasbahs. Additionally, you will have the chance to visit the Todra Gorges, which provide breathtaking vistas and excellent hiking opportunities. “Gateway to the Desert” (Ouarzazate) is the next stop on the tour after a brief lunch break. You will have the chance to visit the Atlas Film Studios in Ouarzazate, where a number of well-known films have been shot.

Day 8 Ouarzazate to Marrakech via Kasbah Ait Benhaddou

The drive from Ouarzazate to Marrakech is picturesque and passes through Morocco’s stunning Atlas Mountains. A visit to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is one of the trip’s highlights.

The Kasbah Ait Benhaddou is a must-see destination on this trip. One of Morocco’s best-preserved kasbahs, this fortress-like village has served as the backdrop for numerous well-known films and television series, such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Following some time spent touring the Kasbah and admiring the scenery, the journey continues to Marrakech, widely known as the “Pearl of the South” and a bustling, historic city.

Day 9 Marrakesh

A visit to the Koutoubia Mosque, the city’s largest mosque and one of its most significant landmarks, would be part of a full-day tour of Marrakech. The tallest minaret in the city is another feature that makes the mosque famous. The Saadian Tombs, a historic location that houses the tombs of members of the Saadian dynasty, who ruled Morocco in the 16th and 17th centuries, would be the next stop on the tour after you’ve visited the mosque. The tombs, which were found in 1917, are renowned for their exquisite tilework and elaborate decoration. After that, a tour of the Bahia Palace, a 19th-century mansion constructed for a prosperous Moroccan aristocrat. The palace is renowned for its exquisite gardens and elaborate tilework. A visit to the souks, which are traditional Moroccan marketplaces where you can purchase anything from jewelry and ceramics to spices and textiles, would also be part of the tour.

Continue to the Jardin secret, which dates back more than 400 years to the Saadian Dynasty, after a brief lunch break. It is a part of the rich history of Moroccan and Arab-Andalusian palaces. You can discover its gardens and buildings, which are outstanding examples of Islamic art and architecture.

Finally, the tour would take you to the Menara Gardens, a large public park that was built in the 12th century by the Almohad ruler Abd al-Mu’min. The garden is known for its large pond, olive groves, and beautiful views of the Atlas Mountains.

I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Morocco, and Jamal was a fantastic guide who provided a genuine understanding of his nation. The little group I travelled with made for great company. Aside from the 90-minute camel journey each way, the night in the desert and the stay at Riads were both fantastic. A must-do if you want to see Morocco’s various regions, highly recommended
