For tourists who enjoy trekking and photography, it is the ideal option.
Day By Day Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Beijing

Transportation to the hotel
Meals: Nothing to eat
Lodging: In Beijing

When you arrive in Beijing, the Chinese capital, a tour guide will greet you at Beijing Capital International Airport and take you to your cozy hotel. For the remainder of the day, feel free.

Day 2Beijing, Huangyaguan, Jinshanling, and the Eastern Qing Tomb

Meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner; Eastern Qing Tomb; ascending the Huangyaguan Great Wall; and driving to the Jinshanling Great Wall
Accommodations: The Bottom of the Wall Guesthouse
Hiking Time and Length for Today: 1.5 hours

The Great Wall hiking excursion will start at your Beijing hotel. Be taken straight to Eastern Qing Tomb for a visit after being picked up from your hotel early in the morning. The Eastern Qing Tomb is the biggest imperial tomb complex in all of China, complete with a natural setting. Five emperors and fifteen empresses reside there, along with many concubines. After that, take a leisurely 1.5-hour hike along the recently refurbished Huangyaguan Great Wall. After that, take a car to the Jinshanling Great Wall region.

Day 3Jinshanling

Hiking the Great Walls of Jinshanling and Wohushan
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
Accommodations: The Bottom of the Wall Guesthouse
The overall hiking time and distance for today was 4 hours and 8 km.

Start trekking the Jinshanling Great Wall today after a straightforward breakfast. From Jinshanling, you will climb eastward to the Simatai Section; the view is breathtaking! On the Jinshanling segment, you will make a halt at Wuyan Tower. You will have a fantastic view of Simatai Section thanks to this tower. After that, head to the Jinshanling parking lot and savor today’s lunch.

Wohushan Great Wall, which requires a quick transit from Jinshanling, is the afternoon Great Wall trekking portion. Hiking the Great Wall at Wohushan (Crouching Tiger Mountain) could take two hours. Wohushan got its name from two separate peaks that resemble two tigers, one bending down and the other looking up. The Wohushan Great Wall is well-known for its steep terrain. After hundreds of years, the unaltered wall is now one of the best examples of the ancient Great Wall architectural art.

You will be taken back to the guesthouse at the base of the Jinshanling Great Wall region after completing this hike, where you will spend the night.

Day 4Gubeikou, Jinshanling, and Huanghuacheng

Hiking from Jinshanling to the Gubeikou Great Wall and driving to Huanghuacheng
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
Accommodations: The Bottom of the Wall Guesthouse
The overall hiking time and distance for today is 5–6 hours and 10 km.

The hike from Jinshanling to General Tower on Gubeikou Section will take about five hours and ten kilometers. There is a military zone on the trekking path that is off-limits. Thus, you will avoid this section by passing via a charming village. You will be taken to a little village at the base of the Huanghuacheng Great Wall once you reach the hiking’s finish line. There, spend the night in a guesthouse.

Day 5Huanghuacheng, Xishuiyu, and Jiankou

Meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner; hiking from Huanghuacheng to Xishuiyu; driving to Jiankou
Accommodations: The Bottom of the Wall Guesthouse
The overall hiking time and distance for today was 4 hours and 8 km.

You will hike to Xishuiyu today from the Huanghuacheng portion. The first step is climbing to a watch tower that provides a view of the Huanghuacheng Reservoir. The path gets steeper as you continue to hike. Today’s destination is the route’s highest point. On the Wall, lunch is a picnic. Climbing the road to Xishuiyu requires extra caution. Although the drive is difficult, the sight is breathtaking! The fractured wall extends over great distances and was constructed along the mountain range.

Day 6Beijing, Mutianyu, and Jiankou

Trekking from Jiankou to Mutianyu and returning to Beijing by car
Meals: Lunch and breakfast
Lodging: Beijing
The entire hiking time and distance for today is 4-5 hours and 10 km.

You will start trekking the Jiankou-Mutianyu Great Wall after breakfast in the hotel. Jiankou Great Wall is well-known among photographers for its “wild taste.” The rough and broken wall, which is surrounded by woodland and has not been renovated, will teach you more about the Great Wall’s history and provide you with a more amazing experience than other tourists.

After completing this hike along the Mutianyu Great Wall, you will have a late lunch at a nearby restaurant that is well-known for its mouthwatering fish. After that, complete this three-day hiking tour by driving back to your Beijing accommodation.
