Following breakfast, we begin our city tour of Amman by going to the downtown theatre, citadel, and panoramic tour. After that, we travel to Jerash, a Roman city that has been inhabited since the Bronze Age and is well-known for the remnants of the walled Greco-Roman colony of Gerasa, which is located just outside of the present city. After that, we’ll travel to Petra. Spend the night at your Petra hotel.

Your tour guide will meet you after breakfast so you may see Petra, Jordan’s most popular tourist destination and one of the new seven wonders. To begin your trip, take a quick horseback ride down the Petra Seeq canyon to the Treasury Al Khazneh. Petra the Rose City is a special location that was
constructed around 2,000 years ago by the Arab Nabateans. We will pause for lunch in the afternoon before continuing on to Wadi Rum. Here, we investigate the dunes of Lawrence, the cave of Lawrence of Arabia, and the mountains. Proceed to the Bedouin camp location after that. Overnight

After an early breakfast at the camp, go to Madaba St. George Church, an old Jordanian hamlet southwest of Amman. The Greek Orthodox Church of St. George is well-known for its mosaic map of the Holy Land from the sixth century. Mount Nebo, a high ridge of the Abarim in Jordan, is only a short drive away and is roughly 710 meters above sea level. The Hebrew Bible describes it as the location where Moses was given a glimpse of the Promised Land. Following our exploration of Mount Nebo, we will head to the Dead Sea in the afternoon for lunch, a swim, and some downtime.

I had a fantastic time touring the Dead Sea, Wadi Rum, Petra, Jerash, and Citadel Hill. All of the meals and accommodations were excellent, and the driver was very kind and helpful.
In just five days, we saw a lot. We had a tent with a shower, toilet, and air conditioning, which was a pleasant surprise because it was hot, and the overnight camping in Wadi Rum was excellent as well. It was more like glamping than camping. Many thanks
