We welcome you to Lombok! Spend the afternoon by the pool with your group before dinner and drinks.
At the Sasak Village, we begin the day by becoming fully immersed in the customs and cultures of Lombok. As our local guides describe village life and the age-old weaving methods that have been passed down through the generations, you can follow along. We then visit three beautiful waterfalls in Lombok that are only reachable by jungle hike.
We will be visiting some of the most immaculate beaches that Lombok has to offer today, so bring a towel and some sunscreen. We’ll travel to two distinct spots along the southern coast, where we can take advantage of the white sand beaches, welcoming locals, and opportunities to get a new tan.
Get your belongings ready! Today, we take a bus and a ferry to Sumbawa Island, our next destination. Enjoy a tranquil afternoon by the pool or on the beach after checking into one of our beachfront bungalows.
Take a day trip to Moyo, an island that is nearly deserted. Here, we will travel to the center of the island, where our local guides will show us the undiscovered treasures tucked away in the jungle. We will also have the opportunity to swim in the stunning and unspoiled Moyo waterfalls. Take in the sunset while having lunch on the beach before boarding the boat to return home.
We are leaving today on our very own Tru Exclusive liveaboard boat. For this once-in-a-lifetime experience, we will be traveling on a traditional wooden boat that has been transformed! You won’t find a more authentic backpacking experience anywhere else than sharing a dorm-style room on the upper deck with traditional showers! We will stop at Satonda Island for the first part of our journey. Bring your mask and snorkel, and then go swimming in the salt lake crater. The pristine marine life is breathtaking. As the sun sets, we enjoy a delectable local meal while lounging on the deck. It’s been a sick first day at sea, but I’m drinking beer. As we continue the journey to the next locations, get ready to sail through the night!
Enter the Komodos’ Jurassic world and travel back in time. Our local guides, who live on the island, welcome us here before we start looking for these ancient animals. Visit one of the four islands that these animals call home for an educational tour. As our time aboard comes to an end, we continue eastward. Before arriving at our stunning resort in Labuan Bajo, Flores, we bid the captain and crew farewell. Savor a final meal and beverages with the group.
It’s time to say goodbye; the time has come. Your group leader will be pleased to assist in setting up all subsequent travel and ongoing support while you are still in Asia, regardless of whether you plan to stay a little while longer on Flores Island or are on your way to your next location.

The next three days are spent sailing around Komodo in a wooden boat. Overall, great services, and I would definitely suggest Komodo Island to any of you who are considering a vacation there.
