You have arrived in Kuala Lumpur, one of the most vibrant and cosmopolitan cities in Asia. Go to the hotel, where you will spend the next two nights. You have the rest of the day to yourself.
Take a tour of this vibrant city to start the day and experience its beauty and personality. Explore the city’s most recognisable sites, such as Independence Square, the King’s Palace, the National Monument, and the well-known Petronas Twin Towers. Relax and take in the sweeping views of colonial architecture and contemporary skyscrapers as you drive through the elegant streets. A quick visit to the National Museum*, an intriguing facility devoted to Malaysian history and culture, will transport you back in time. Later, visit a local chocolate boutique and a handicraft centre to purchase some chocolates and gifts.
Hotel check-out. Pick up for transfer at 9.00AM. Travel from Kuala Lumpur to Taman Negara and spend two nights at Mutiara Resort. We take you on a nighttime jungle walk with a nature ranger this evening after you have had time to freshen up and unpack.
Experience the region’s exceptional natural beauty by trekking through a lush rainforest on today’s tour, which offers the opportunity to cross the canopy walkway and take in breath-taking views of the forest from an altitude of dizzying heights. Visit a native community in the afternoon, go terasek tracking, and take a boat to fish in the Santay and Lata Berkoh.
After saying goodbye to your jungle adventure, you took a boat back to Kuala Tembeling jetty and travelled to the intriguing hill stations of the Cameron Highlands, which were established during the colonial era. Once you reach the foothills of the highlands, start climbing along the mountain road, which is dotted with enormous tree ferns and native dwellings. Check into the hotel, which will serve as your home for the next two nights, as you arrive in the Highlands. Breakfast is included today.
Please be aware that temperatures in the highlands can drop significantly at night, so it is advised to wear warm clothing.
Enjoy the refreshing highland landscape while exploring on your own. The Mount Brinkhang Tour, which takes you to the summit of the Cameron Highlands, is a great way to start the day. Explore the tea plantation after exploring the mossy woodland. It’s your lunch break. Visit the lovely strawberry farm, cactus valley, and rose garden after lunch.
Drive down the mountain road to Penang, leaving the highlands behind. Make a stop at Ipoh along the way to see the Sam Poh Tong Temple. Take a photo stop at the Iskandariah Palace and Istana Kenangan before continuing north to Kuala Kangsar, the Royal Town of Perak, and see the Ubudiah Mosque, one of the most exquisite mosques in the nation. We’ll go to the charcoal industry and mangrove forest.
Continue on to Penang Island, where you will spend two nights at the hotel. Free and simple.
Take a sightseeing tour that includes the Anglican Church, Kuan Yin Chinese Temple, Mahamariaman Indian Temple, and the Kapitan Kling Mosque to experience the best of Georgetown. Go to Khoo Kong Si. Visit the State Museum, which was constructed in 1821 and has a fine collection of historical relics, maps, charts, and old photographs, to gain insight into the state’s past. Visit the Thai temple of Wat Chayamangkalaram, which is home to a Reclining Buddha that is 108 feet long. See Penang Hill and the seven-story Paggoda Temple at Kek Lok Si.
You can spend the rest of the day relaxing at the hotel or exploring on your own.
On your last day, you are free to explore the island and complete any last-minute sightseeing or shopping before flying home to Kuala Lumpur or KLIA airport. You can modify this final day’s schedule to suit your needs.
