It was really soothing to visit the Buddha statue. Deep spiritual meaning and cultural richness are reflected in the statue’s beauty and the tranquilly of the location. One of the highlights of our family’s trip to Thailand that we will never forget was our visit to the Big Buddha in Phuket.
Although it’s closed for renovations because of landslides, it’s still a worthwhile landmark FTP visit when visiting Phuket. The gift shop and the photo vantage point were both appealing to me.
It’s worth the trip; the vistas are breathtaking, and I got to see several monks in action.
