You will be picked up at your Ho Chi Minh City hotels. You’ll need about an hour and a half to travel to Cu Chi. An introductory video about the construction of the tunnels and how the Vietnamese people managed to survive the harsh conditions of the war will be shown before you begin exploring the tunnels. Explore the remaining sections and the tunnel system, which include unique living spaces with kitchens and bedrooms next to other military facilities like field hospitals, weapons factories, and command centers that assist those residing inside the tunnels in meeting their basic necessities. In addition, the labyrinthine tunnels contain numerous concealed trap doors and hazardous traps for wartime security. Special tea and cassava—a food that guerrillas consumed during the war—will then be served. Take a break.

This trip’s first stop is the ancient capital of Hoa Lu. Vietnam’s first capital was this one. Visit Hoa Lu to discover why the capital was relocated to Hanoi in the modern era. When you enter the 17th-century temples of King Dinh and King Le, the first and second emperors of ancient Vietnam, you are struck by their magnificent architecture. Visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu to experience the atmosphere of the past.
At noon, you will be taken to lunch by our guide.
See Trung An, which was named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2014. Because of Trang An’s amazing tunnel cave system, Kong’s Movie Group decided to use it for their 2016 New Version of Kong, “Skull Island.” With numerous caves, including Sang Cave (Light Cave), Toi Cave (Dack Cave), Nau Ruou Cave (Cooking Wine), a green river, and a natural view, Trang An is a breathtakingly beautiful place to visit by boat.
Go back to Hanoi
One of Vietnam’s most magnificent natural wonders is Halong Bay, which is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This breathtaking bay, which covers more than 1,500 square kilometers and is home to about 1,600 limestone islands and islets, is situated in Quang Ninh Province. Halong Bay is a must-see location in northern Vietnam because of its emerald waters, majestic karst formations, and fascinating history.
Let Halong Bay serve as the journey’s grand finale—save the best for last!
