Alexandria’s City Center (Pass By)You travel to Alexandria, the capital of Ptolemaic Egypt, after breakfast. The journey begins with a visit to the gardens of the historic Bibliotheca Alexandrina, which is followed by lunch at a reputable local eatery. Your next stop will be the Roman Amphitheater, which features 13 rows of white European marble in the audience area with Aswan granite columns. A tour of the Citadel of Qaitbay, a 15th-century stronghold near Pharos Island’s harbor, will be the final stop before heading back to Cairo. They’ll take you back to Cairo.
The Egyptian Antiquities Museum (Stop by)After breakfast you will start the day with a Cairo City Tour with the first stop at the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities featuring treasures from tombs, temples and palaces throughout Egypt from ancient dynasties. In addition to a guided tour, you will have ample time to explore. You will visit the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque in Islamic Cairo, which is dominated by the Saladin Citadel, an 800-year-old castle and home, after lunch at a decent authentic restaurant.
Aswan (Pass By): A licensed tour guide will greet you at the Aswan train station or hotel and help you get to your five-star Nile Cruise by air-conditioned van so you can check in before lunch. Eat lunch on board.

Abu Simbel (Pass By): Your guide will pick you up for the excursion to Abu Simbel (in a small group) at approximately 4:30. Return to the Cruise before midday so you can eat lunch and sail to Kom Ombo City.
